Our client, a prominent law firm with a passion for fighting on behalf of their clients, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Investigator to join their dynamic legal team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers the chance to play a critical role in uncovering the facts that help deliver justice for clients across a wide range of litigation matters.
In This Role, You Will:
- Conduct in-depth investigations into personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, and other plaintiff-side claims.
- Locate and interview witnesses, clients, and other key individuals to collect detailed and accurate statements.
- Gather and analyze public records, police reports, and other vital documents.
- Visit accident scenes or other relevant sites to collect physical evidence, take photographs, and generate diagrams.
- Prepare detailed investigative summaries, timelines, and visual evidence to support litigation strategy.
- Partner closely with attorneys to shape case direction through timely and well-documented findings.
- Testify in depositions and trials, when needed, to present your investigative conclusions.
- Maintain the utmost discretion and adhere to strict ethical and confidentiality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field preferred; relevant experience (i.e. Law Enforcement, Judicial Court Experience) will also be strongly considered.
- Background in investigative work, private investigations, or law enforcement/military/federal investigations.
- Knowledge of litigation practices and evidentiary standards, particularly in civil law would be preferable.
- Excellent interviewing and observational skills with a sharp attention to detail and a compassion for the clients you interact with.
- Tech-savvy with comfortable using case management tools and digital research platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with professionalism and the utmost discretion.
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel as required. Background check will be conducted.
