Job: *Marketing / Business Development Manager*

Prominent, multi-office regional law firm seeks to immediately hire a Marketing / Business Development Manager to support Litigation Practice Groups. The Business Development Manager will work with Practice Group Leaders as well as individual attorneys on developing new business leads and opportunities. Responsibilities will include competitive market analysis, industry specific research as well as writing proposals and RFP response.
The ideal candidate will possess:

• Superior communication ability
• Advanced project management skills combined with the ability to implement strategic directives and see projects through from concept to delivery, using initiative, solid judgment, and business savvy.
• The ability to travel between offices within driving distance.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism with 5+ years marketing / business development experience in a professional services environment.
• Prior legal marketing experience from either the plaintiff or defense side is a HUGE plus!

Attorneys or paralegals interested in an alternative career with previous marketing or sales experience may also be considered.
