An established Atlanta law firm is seeking a commercial litigation associate with approximately 2–4 years of experience to join a sophisticated litigation practice.
This position is designed for an attorney who already has a litigation foundation and is ready for greater responsibility. The associate will work closely with experienced attorneys on complex commercial disputes, with opportunities for substantive writing, depositions, court appearances, client interaction, case strategy, and meaningful involvement throughout the litigation process.
A particularly attractive feature of the opportunity is the firm’s 1,500-hour annual billable requirement, allowing an associate to continue handling challenging litigation while maintaining a more sustainable billable-hours expectation.
Qualifications
- Approximately 2–4 years of litigation experience
- Active Georgia Bar license
- Commercial, business, employment, or other complex civil litigation experience preferred
- Deposition and/or courtroom experience
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and assume increasing responsibility
