Bonnie Vassalo-Morgan is a Houston legal recruiter with Strategic Recruitment Solutions. She leads the firm’s Houston Legal Division and partners with law firms and corporate legal departments throughout Houston and the surrounding Texas legal market. Bonnie recruits’ attorneys, partners, associates, paralegals, legal assistants, and other legal professionals while helping candidates evaluate legal career opportunities that align with their goals, experience, and preferred work environment.
Bonnie is passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities. She takes a relationship-driven approach to legal recruiting and believes successful placements begin with asking the right questions. By taking the time to understand what matters most to both clients and candidates, she helps create strong, lasting matches that support long-term success.
Bonnie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from the University of Connecticut. In addition to her legal recruiting work, she serves as President and Lead Consultant of The Able Network, Inc. Through that role, she focuses on economic empowerment, workforce development, networking opportunities, and diversity initiatives. Her leadership experience provides valuable insight into talent development, organizational growth, and professional relationships.
Bonnie is deeply committed to serving her community. She actively supports several nonprofit organizations and participates in ministries within her local church. She also serves as Events Chairperson for the NOLA Gold Rugby Foundation, where she helps support community engagement and fundraising initiatives.
Outside of work, Bonnie enjoys tennis, boxing, spending time with her daughter, and making memories with their rescue Schnoodle, Malakai.
