Our client is seeking an on-site Associate Attorney in New Orleans to join their toxic tort defense practice. You’ll work alongside experienced trial attorneys on sophisticated, high-stakes matters involving complex chemical exposure claims. Rather than being limited to document review, you will actively contribute to case strategy, depositions, hearings, and motion practice.
What You’ll Do
- Litigate Substantively: Draft and argue critical motions, and manage written discovery.
- Conduct Depositions: Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, and experts.
- Advocate & Strategize: Participate directly in court hearings and strategic defense planning.
- Collaborate Daily: Work side-by-side with accomplished toxic tort litigators.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3-8 years of civil litigation experience, with a defense background preferred.
- Asbestos Experience: Prior experience handling asbestos litigation is a huge plus.
- Core Skills: Proven success with depositions, complex discovery, and strong legal writing.
- Location: Ability to work full-time, on-site at the New Orleans office.
