A well-regarded Houston Personal Injury firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its litigation team and support attorneys handling active, fast-moving matters.
The practice includes a mix of multi-million dollar complex personal injury cases, offering steady exposure to substantive, varied cases.
This role is a strong fit for someone who is already operating with a high level of ownership—someone who tracks deadlines instinctively, anticipates next steps, and keeps cases moving without needing to be asked.
What You’ll Do
- Draft and revise pleadings, motions, discovery, and subpoenas
- File in Houston state and federal courts
- Track deadlines and maintain litigation calendars
- Organize case files, exhibits, and supporting documentation
- Assist with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
- Coordinate scheduling with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of litigation experience (paralegal or legal assistant)
- Personal Injury background required; plaintiff experience preferred
- Familiarity with Houston court procedures and filings
- Strong attention to detail and document formatting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy practice
