Core Responsibilities
- Policy Analysis: Assist attorneys with the organization, review, and structural mapping of Commercial General Liability (CGL) and Property & Casualty (P&C) policies and endorsements.
- Case Management: Manage files from inception through resolution, focusing on coverage disputes, declaratory judgment actions, and bad faith claims.
- Pleadings & Discovery: Draft and organize discovery requests, subpoenas, deposition summaries, and initial pleadings related to coverage issues.
- Document Management: Index and organize heavy document productions, underwriting files, and claims handling records.
To Be Considered, You Should Have:
- 7+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a strong emphasis on CGL and P&C coverage disputes, first-party/third-party claims, or bad faith litigation.
- Proven ability to review and analyze complex policy language and claims files in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong technical acumen, with proficiency in legal databases, document management platforms, and litigation case management systems.
- A stable work history and excellent references.
- A Paralegal Certification and / or a BA degree.
